The Society for the Proper Use of English (S.P.U.E.) is an organization dedicated to slowing the plummet of the English language into unintelligible gibberish thanks to the advances of technology and the general laziness of English speakers everywhere.

S.P.U.E. was founded in memory of Richard “The Man Who Knows Everything” Swett, a man with extraordinarily tidy grammar and an exceedingly large vocabulary.
